From Healing to Radiance — The Story Behind Yumi Lumina

Yumi Lumina didn’t begin in a skincare lab.

It began in Australia, with my Aunt Adeline — who had just undergone surgery after a colon cancer diagnosis. Instead of relying solely on conventional recovery methods, she used a red light therapy device over the surgical site. Within a week, the wound had visibly healed, and she no longer needed painkillers.

I was intrigued. Skeptical, but curious.

Then I discovered the reason she trusted red light therapy so deeply: years earlier, her husband had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Determined to help, she began exploring advanced neurostimulation technologies that were still in early-stage research.

Though her husband passed before meaningful results could be seen, her search didn’t stop. Another relative — diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s — later began using the same light-based protocols. Over time, the family began to notice signs of cognitive improvement.

That changed everything.

She introduced me to the technology she’d been using — and eventually gifted me a red light therapy device of my own. What I experienced opened a door.

My curiosity deepened.
What began as skepticism turned into exploration — and then conviction.

And somewhere along the way, I found myself wondering:

That’s where Yumi Lumina was born.
